However, they can't actually activate it by will or think ' hey, I want to curse this person ' and it will just happen. They're still trying to figure out how to CONTROL IT and is doing their best to learn it to its full potential. They can't exactly control it very well and as of the blog's canon, Mori is keeping them captive in order to ' train ' them and perfect his little ' killing machine '.What Yumeno can control and what will be utilized most of the time is their doll. Their doll can act as a miniature version of ' Anne of Abyssal Red ' and actually ATTACK you. It can't grow giant and it doesn't have an alternate dimension but it does have claws and it is VERY fast. This can be stopped by either destroying the doll or hurting Yumeno.The reason for the canon - divergence is because of the extremely god - moddy nature of Dogra Magra. Takes place during Yumeno's stay at the goverment run orphanage. This is the place of Yumeno's nightmares; a hell in which their head and the cruel treatment of workers torture they day and night. It's only a matter of time until they lose it.Thankfully, the governments hands them over to the Port Mafia

 pre - prison / fifteen. 
Takes place before the slaughter they cause; five year old Yumeno is taken under the Port Mafia's wing in which they are finally given the love thye so badly needed. That childish fantasy couldn't last forever as the mafia soon realized their potential and soon, they were put under harsh training and punishments to become a full fledged mafiaoso. they struggle as they are a child a child and questions the morality of it all.

 prison / pre - canon. 
As punishment and as a precaution, Yumeno is imprisoned in a cell with only their hallucinations and their delusions to keep them company. Not many come to see them as even the MAFIA fears their power. Only when Mori and Dazai are around can they step out ... but only to endure harsh treatment to fully develop their ability and turn them into an even greater killing machine.

Tasked with destroying the American Organization known as The Guild, Yumeno is released from their cell by Mori. Now, Yumeno is bent on destroying The Guild ... buuut ... not before they get their revenge on Dazai - san.

They were SUPPOSED to take down The Guild. But instead, they failed in the most catastrophic way possible; getting kidnapped by John and Lovecraft and being brutally tortured and manipulated into cursing all of Yokohama. Eventually, they were saved and thrown right back into the cell where they struggle to come to terms with their failure and manipulation. The only hope for them now is that Mori - san isn't giving up quite yet.

 beast. Yumeno’s past is the same as their canon verse so they still have a fair amount of trauma. They were still given Dogra Magra’s power by Izanami after abuse by the cult and they still killed their cult after letting Dogra Magra take over them by accident. They still were taken in by the government to be abused and experimented on until the government dumped them at the Port Mafia’s steps for the mafia to find. They were still abused by Mori and placed in a cell. Certain traumas remain like their distrust of adults and crippling fear of doctors. But that’s where the similarities END.Dazai never liked how Yumeno was treated; viewing them as an actual CHILD that shouldn’t have been caged the way they were. Yumeno was able to bond with Dazai and form a healthy relationship with him. Their bond grew so much that even before Dazai took over as the Port Mafia’s leader, they began to call the man their ‘ big brother ‘. Once Dazai took over, one of his first actions was to release Yumeno from the cells. However, since Yumeno had no place to go and they were incredibly attached to Dazai anyway; they remained in the Port Mafia. The child was practically by Dazai’s side all the time; their favorite place being the big office where the man often worked. Similar to Elise in the canon verse; they are constantly spoiled and doted upon, given candy and toys every day. But UNLIKE Elise, they aren’t spoiled and picky about their gifts and are grateful Dazai is THERE.Even with their attachment and their relationship to Dazai though, they still do their best to befriend and be kind to other Port Mafia members. Whenever they’re allowed, they try to play with Atsushi, although given his responsibilities, there’s not much time for that.They have a slightly better grasp on Dogra Magra as in its not so noisy in their head although they still need to bleed a substantial amount to be able to curse people and they still can’t stop it once the person is cursed unless they either die, its nullified, or they break free of the curse themselves. For this reason, Dazai rarely ever put them on the battlefield because of the unstable nature of their ability but also wtf that’s their sibling.In short, they ARE completely devoted to Dazai BUT at the same time, without Dazai’s betrayal, they aren’t as hung up over the man as in canon and they just want to make friends with people. They’re almost normal. Almost.

 modern. 
The story starts off the same; Yumeno is born to a strange cultist family, dooming them to have cursed powers. They kill their birth father and the majority of his followers and are taken to a government - run orpahange. But what happens next is entirely different.Another family adopts them ... but the issue is, the family is far too normal; completely unprepared for Yumeno's powers. The first few days go well ... and Yumeno thinks that maybe, just MAYBE they can have a normal life. But once their abilities come to light, the parents pack up their bags and leave; leaving them with their older brother ... who of course, blames THEM for their parents departure.In the trauma of his parents' abandonment, Dazai seeks aid in the yazuka and rises up so far in the ranks that he gains his very on faction that he leads. However, what the yazuka doesn't know is that he uses Yumeno as a tool in slaughter to get what he wants.They're not in a prison cell ... but their brother sure knows how to make it FEEL like a prison cell.

 vampire. 
For the most part, their origins start out the SAME as in their canon. A goddess and her dearly beloved husband, Izanami and Izanagi attempt to start a family after the creation of the world. However, during the process, she would perish giving birth to one of the children. In his grief, Izanagi attempts to travel to the underworld to retrieve his wife. However, he became embarrassed and frightened by her deathly appearance. Angered and humiliated, she would send her army of rotting shikome after him, but he would ultimately ESCAPE. The grudge and hatred against the world that she and Izanagi had created was birthed here.However, it’s here where things begin to CHANGE.In Yumeno’s canon, the child was killed before Izanagi went to the Underworld and DOES NOT have much bearing on their story save for being the root cause of the conflict that would create the grudge and hatred Dogra Magra has against the world. However, in this verse, Izanagi was actually CONSIDERING keeping the child. But all thoughts of that fell through when he saw how disgusting his wife was. Instead, he would take his sword and cut her and the shikome down. Once he arrived back on earth, he would POISON the child with the blood of the Undead. The evil scheme worked and the child died ... but at the cost of a CURSE that would haunt the Izanagi / Izanami bloodline for eons to come.Through centuries, Izanami would continue to reincarnate, typically coming back as a murderer or be in some other position that would allow to her to kill relentlessly. However, SHE would never try to have a child until one particular incarnation.She never intended to have a child in the cult that she created for fear of history repeating itself. But she did and died because of it. However, something was VERY wrong with the child that was born.In the first few years of their life, Yumeno was abused by their cult. They were trapped in this cycle when they were constantly hurt by fanatic adults believing in a destructive God. However, as their cult would sacrifice people day and night, they couldn’t help but think ...... that their blood sure looked TASTY.Wait, what ? But why ... why would they think that ? Wasn’t that super disgusting ?They always tried to push the thought out of their mind but eventually, after being starved of food and blood, they would eventually give in and not only kill dozens members of the cult but feast on their BLOOD.After the massacre, they were taken in by a shady doctor known as Mori Ougai and held captive and used as a weapon due their vampiric abilities.Despite technically being a descendant of a long - dead ( infant ) vampire ( literally less than a halfling but still having it in them ) and unfortunately having their taste for blood, Yumeno has a remarkably strong willpower when it comes to NOT drinking blood. They can go for VERY long periods without blood if taken care of properly which does allow them to easily hide their vampiric traits. The only visible vampire traits they have is the teeth as well the strength of a vampire. However, if if they’re neglected and starved, they’ll eventually give into their vampirism and kill to satiate their hunger.

 pokemon. 
There were always creepy rumors about LAVENDER TOWN. The town that Pokemon spirits were to lay their souls to rest … or at least, that was the town’s intended purpose at first.But with the dead came unwanted stories; stories of Pokemon haunting innocents, even CURSING them into madness; a fate that ALL were terrified of. As the stories grew; less trainers and travelers came by. The town became akin to nothing more than a GHOST TOWN. For the sake of the town’s faltering reputation, something HAD to be done.Despite the protests of those loyal to its history, the Pokemon Tower; home to many graves, was demolished and converted to a RADIO TOWER. There were hopes; high hopes of Lavender Town flourishing like its larger; more urbanized neighbors.And in the midst of this town was a small child.Yumeno was born to a small, dysfunctional family. Their father was a SEEDY man with criminal underworld links poured money into the project despite opposition. The changes caused instability in their lives; a constant fear of violence and break - ins. Worse yet, their brother was highly affected in both school and at home and he too, took his frustration out on Yumeno. Eventually, the radio tower was completed. All seemed well until an ACCIDENT happened.Who knows the cause ? A mishap in the technology’s part ? Or vengeance cast by the souls whose graves were disturbed ? SOMETHING wrought horror in the form of PIERCINGLY LOUD frequencies from the tower; instilling a MADNESS in those who heard.Lavender Town was soon painted RED; many people either dying from exposure or driven to the point of killing everyone including themselves. Yumeno was one of them.When the tower finally silenced, the child came to their senses only to see a HORRIFYING SCENE. A knife in their hand; blood all over them, and their family DEAD.Unable to do anything else, the child grabbed one of their brother’s Pokeballs; his Mimikyu and RAN.<p>Lavender Town is eventually rebuilt and the incident is buried away. But they refuse to come back. To this day, they’re an orphan; hiding from those who want to mistreat them and those who they’re scared they may hurt. They still suffer ill effects ranging from headaches and nosebleeds to hallucinations and anxiety. They’re still living in their very own NIGHTMARE.

There was once a FEARLESS woman; unmatched in her cruelty and cunning named ■■■■■■ or rather, ‘ Izanami ‘ as an alias. Izanami was a close follower of the famous criminal mafioso, Shinobu Gokujo; pretty much serving as his right hand woman and his executive. However, she only joined his side after the Hades Incident and only knew of the bloodbath and the first Death Game through his word. At some point in time, she had Yumeno.Not wanting her child to live in the criminal underworld, she formally left the criminal underworld with Gokujo’s blessings and went to live out a normal life. However, as Gokujo was a fugitive of the Hades Incident, ASU - NARO would soon go after Izanami.Izanami was killed by ASU - NARO while Yumeno was not in the home with her. Due to their connections with Gokujo, they were transferred directly to the ASU - NARO facilities rather than an ASU - NARO run orphanage like Q - taro.At ASU - NARO, they were not treated kindly; either used as a testing fodder for the attractions and other deadly devices or worse yet, used as a toy for Midori to experiment on. The child survived for a remarkably long time based off sheer determination and pettiness against Midori. But unfortunately, that very same wit made ASU - NARO submit them to the DEATH GAME.And soon enough, during one of Midori’s experiments, the consent form was handed to them. Yumeno, wanting out of not just the experiments but also, ASU - NARO, signed it; not knowing what the consent form truly said.They just wished for a normal, happy life.Despite their determination to not lose to Midori, they would PERISH at the First Trial. Eventually, they are brought back to life, but only as a DUMMY. However, they weren’t actually qualified to be a participant and stuffed into the storage room and not a coffin unlike the main six dummies. They do wear a collar though and they do have knowledge of the facility; however a lot of it would have to be revealed via lantern.

When the World Formula was rewritten, it rewrote not just Paris, France but the entire world. Vampires came to exist in all parts of the world, including the little Port city of Yokohama, Japan. However, Japan as a nation was ill - prepared for such an event. Waves of fear had already been gripping the nation from those opposed to opening its borders for trade and exposing the nation to the outside world and the re-writing of the world just made EVERYTHING worse. Many vampires went into hiding; fearing persecution and death from the frantic people believing the would cause harm to others.
Amongst those that went into hiding were a vampire woman and her small child, Yumeno. The two of them could control their thirst for blood well but they still lived in fear; knowing how much their kind were hated. But as long as they were hiding, there was an unsteady peace.However, with the rise of vampires came anti - vampire shrines; determined to rid Japan of vampires with their swords. An anti - vampire shrine caught wind of Yumeno’s existence and came after their family.
In a bloody battle, their mother managed to ALMOST decimate the anti - vampire shrine. Yumeno could only watch in horror as the bodies piled up and their mother would tear apart hose who dared to attack her child. But in the end, she too perished.In a desperate attempt to escape, Yumeno managed to sneak onto a trading boat on its way to Paris. However, with little knowledge of how the nation even worked or how vampire society even worked in Paris as well as their desperate situation, they were a perfect victim for Charlatan. Soon after, they were approached by Charlatan and tricked into giving up their true name with promises of revenge against those that killed their mother.They became a unique cursebearer that could shapeshift between a normal vampire and their malnomen form. Shortly after, Yumeno is taken advantage of by an anti-human unit similar to the chasseaurs and due to their ability to shapeshift as well as their age, they are often used as a weapon. By this time, Yumeno realizes that becoming a cursebearer was a mistake and they’re being held hostage because of the fact they have no roof over their head nor do they have the medication to treat their cursebearing status.
Their malnomen is a horrific looking doll known as <b>The Messenger</b> that delivers awful hallucinations unto its victims before killing them in a gruesome manner; or worse, letting them wallow in their own hallucinations until they perish.

ㅤA cursed child born from the DESTRUCTION. Their mother was an emanator of Destruction that possessed a human and eventually changed her ways and tried to break away from Nanook. As punishment for the betrayal, she was killed and the planet she was residing was destroyed.ㅤㅤIf it were not for the Mourning Actors who had been passing by, they too would have perished. However, shortly after, they would be kidnapped by the Masked Fools and raised as one of them.ㅤㅤIn the present day, they work at a small toy shop based in Penacony; a more ' child - friendly ' version of the Tavern. Though, many of the toys that come out of the shop are often broken or doㅤ—ㅤUNEXPECTED things like Rickroll you or blow up. No one knows who owns the shop, who makes the toys, or how the place stays in business. People just assume they're a clerk and that the place is definitely breaking child labor laws.
